not totally different from Susan Hough's view30 Nov 2004 23:16 GMT6
In this abstract,  noted seismologist Susan Hough rightly reasons that very

Ft Tejon, 1857,  "S.F"., 190630 Nov 2004 23:03 GMT1
I am looking at sections of the San Andreas fault where much fewer earthquakes
of all sizes take place than other sections:  You know these areas!   The first
area begins some miles south of Parkfield and continues all the way to Cajon
Pass, centered on the Ft. Tejon area near the ...
when the 'slipping' area doesn't slip30 Nov 2004 17:48 GMT8
Does it seem to some of you that the recent small and moderate earthquakes on
the San Andreas from a few miles NW of the Pinnacles to 10 mi SE of Parkfield
may be putting a bit of strain on the area around San Juan Bautista/Hollister
which usually is fairly frequently "on the move", ...
MSH EQ's30 Nov 2004 09:58 GMT1
There have been several larger EQ's at MSH 11/29/04. These larger EQ's
appear to be occurring more frequently as the day goes on. Apparently MSH is
continuing to clear it's throat after the mag 3.1 EQ of 11/27/04.
For basis of the above statement re larger EQ's at MSH on 11/29/04 ...

Misquotes27 Nov 2004 20:28 GMT2
Hello? Is anyone at home?
How often do you hear a garbled version of a popular saying? A couple of
years ago a Boston Globe reporter wrote this about a woman commenting on
a neighbor's arrest: "'Let he who is without the first stone cast it,'
