Anyone noticed how few eqs of M6.8 or greater this year? The average is about two dozen. Last year had 28. 1989 had only ten. The year started with a M7.1 shake on 1/3, then none till 10/8 and 9. Is this the calm before the big one?

Skywise posted re: unusual signals on the JUN & HSR Helicorders some of which were thought to be tornillo events. Due to an OE6 "Hick Up" the post was lost. "Tornillo" type EQ's show up in 2 forms on helicorders as noted on the pdf
