Webicorder activity has risen dramatically at Cedar Flats
and June Lake, but curiously not on the South Ridge station.

Anyone noticed how few eqs of M6.8 or greater this year?
   The average is about two dozen.  Last year had 28.  1989 had only
ten.  The year started with a M7.1 shake on 1/3, then none till 10/8

Skywise posted re: unusual signals on the JUN & HSR Helicorders some of
which were thought to be tornillo events. Due to an OE6 "Hick Up" the post
was lost.

Granted some of the EQ's shown on the map above are scattered out. What
makes this interesting is to catch a quake listed at the USGS NEIC ...
