The beach ball for the mag 6.7 SOLOMON ISLANDS event that occurred 11/11/04 is ~ 180 degrees opposite of the beach ball for the mag 7.4 Indonesia event. As previously noted I have not seen an explanation for this type beach ball. See: http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/FM/neic_qsbr_q.html

A mag 4.0 EQ occurred 11/07/04 SW of Tuscaloosa,Al. See: http://folkworm.ceri.memphis.edu/recenteqs/ . This EQ appears to be another EQ of a group of EQ's running along a trend from a point on the Central Ky-Va border SW to SW Al.
