This morning in Tokyo (Ebisu/Daikanyama Area), I saw 1000s of
earthworms crawling out of the ground all at once to die in the hot
sun. Never seen that before in all the years I have been here.

In the past week there have been numerous microquakes (M 0.5-1.5) in
the southern San Joaquin valley.  Their locations are regularly spaced.
Some of the locations have more than one quake, and one spot has four
small quakes strung out in a short straight  line.
