For both the recent quake in Anza and the previous large one a
few years ago I mentioned that I had a 'funny feeling' about the
area in the days before the quakes but dismissed it and not said
anything.

Is it possible for a tectonic plate to move, causing earthquakes around
its perimeter?  Has this been documented in the past?

You >must< play with this.  It is addictive.  I have
largely wasted the holiday weekend exploring the US
and flying around the Pacific Northwest in 3D mode.  I

BIRDY PREDICTS QUAKE EQ FOG                   June 22, 2005
The weather system in SW Fla went into the rainy season as the June 12
Puerto Rico quakes series followed the Eq coming in from the San
Andreas area.

A paucity of quakes yesterday:

The Garin Dilational strain meter is up so I'm wondering if the
Milpitas/San Jose corridor is getting ready for a shaker?  Anyone got
an opinion?

The USGS will be mosly on holiday on July 4th, so no earthquakes will be
listed on that day.
If hell breaks loose, wait tell Tuesday :-)

Would a study of very large historical earthquakes help with the syzygy
