The US Today earthquake article said the Japan meteorological dept
(in charge of quakes) used a faster method quake detection to speed
the earthquake alert by three minutes.  In three minutes a potential
tsunami can move several hundred miles, killing more people.

Don't know if anyone missed me, but I've been offline for a

In order to speed upload time, I've changed the bmps to jpg charts.
The jpgs aren't 1/2 as clear as the bmps were, but are 1/100th the
size and yet are still very readable.
