currently reports "considerable" damages, and lots of stuff down on
local roads, particularly the one between Chacabuco and  Coyhaique.

The BBC is consuming its news slot this morning with hearsay about a
4.7 quake in SE England. There is some talk of an explosion. A viewer
sent in a picture of a seismograph that looks more like an explosion
to my untutored eyes.
