What is the eV rating of an everyday household magnetron?29 Jul 2004 23:02 GMT1
The title says it all, please send your responses to
zefool333@yahoo.com because I will not be returning to this group.
Thank you.
Propagation of EM waves in a relativistic medium - some mathematical details29 Jul 2004 13:42 GMT114
I wrote a short paper a while ago describing how classical
electrodynamics might be derived from the motion of an underlying
space-filling relativistic continuum (which some may wish to interpret
as a kind of `luminiferous aether'). I have now added a section to
The force between two adjacent magnets29 Jul 2004 04:26 GMT11
I'm curious if someone can explain to me exactly how the magnetic force of a
typical magnet works -- more specifically, how do two magnets attract or
repel one another? I do understand a few of the fundamentals of magnetism.
For example, I'm aware of the fact that moving charges ...
Describe This FFT27 Jul 2004 20:45 GMT1
Could someone please explain to me the properties and frequency of this fft?

How 2 Shield An Electrical Extension Cord?26 Jul 2004 22:40 GMT2
Will Copper Foil Tape shield a 100' electrical wire?. I have a 100'
electrical extension cord that snakes thru the bottom side of several
walls in a room, including under the bed. Will a coper foil tape
prevent/shield the EMF/Radiation/and other bad stuffs from escaping
Magnetic field is real - according to Feynman26 Jul 2004 21:01 GMT19
I did not completely follow the recent discussions about magnetic field but
surely the following is an interesting addition.
Yesterday I scrolled through Feynman's vol.11 of his Lectures on Physics and
among a lot of another highly interesting stuff I found in ch.17 a thought

Question about waveguide tuning25 Jul 2004 00:30 GMT7
I'm an electrical engineer tasked to design a waveguide run for a
particular system, and although I have the necessary background, I'm
unfortunately a bit inexperienced in practice. (The "waveguide
experts" here are technicians- well versed in the handbooks and specs,
Palentir - Communication via quantum entanglement, sans electromangetic waves?21 Jul 2004 12:11 GMT40
In quantum entanglement, particles that have had their quantum states
cohered are "entangled", dependent on each other, even when
separated. It takes energy to "cool" or remove uncertainty, to
cohere quantum states.

Innovative paper on "Interstellar Night Sky"20 Jul 2004 13:22 GMT11
I have produced a totally original paper that quantifies the
brightness of the interstellar night sky, something that I believe no
other science authority has yet done:-

Radius of electron20 Jul 2004 06:47 GMT243
It was shown in the article 2 that radius of an electron is
1.405*10^-15 meters (If radius of electron is taken as 2.8*10^-19
meters, then we assume that there is a gap between charge and mass of
electron and radius of the charge cannot be reduced below 1.405^-15
