Hi, i'm looking for a text that deals with the effects of stress on
magnetization. Can anyone reccomend one other than Cullity?
Thanks.

Deafening silence. Well, I knew this would be a hard sell.
Let me take one more stab at this, then I'll f*ck off.
Below is a very interesting link I've uploaded to my site.
Magnetic Force and the Electromagnetic Spectrum26 Nov 2004 16:09 GMT1
What is the particle that transmits the magnetic force? Is it a flow
of electrons created by the generalized alignment of polarity or
current? If so, what transmits the force between two electrons when
they repel eachother? Is it a photon and thus lies on the

Sonic Weapons II - Strange vibrations - help!25 Nov 2004 13:04 GMT5
Sigh.
I hesitate to post this. It's going to sound very kooky.
And sorry about posting to so many groups - I'm desperate.

Faraday cage and permanet magnets25 Nov 2004 12:54 GMT11
I'm not sure about this, therefore I will ask.
Take an iron tube or  pipe. Install permanent magnets outside of the iron
tube so that positive or negative poles of the permanent magnets are
attached on the wall of the tube.
Can I "steal" iron asteroids from space with a super-magnet ? ? ? ?22 Nov 2004 04:52 GMT1
You know, space-travels are expensive, but there are many asteroids
containing iron and with a super-electro-magnet, we may could catch
them and mine the minerals on the asteroids.
Is it possible?
Electrodymanics questions 5: Scattering from a cylinder17 Nov 2004 14:21 GMT2
This problem is driving me nuts. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
It is discussed in Leonard Eyges: "The Classical Electromagnetic
field", sections 15.7 and 15.8 (1980 Dover edition).
Need Near Field equations problems16 Nov 2004 08:16 GMT3
Could someone please provide a correct near field equation that a
computer programmer can understand?  I'm using the following equation
in a simple simulation but it's not working in all cases.
E = a * sin(theta) * q / ( 4 * pi * e * c^2 * r )

I have advertised on InfoRelation.com some project connetcted with the
subject of our discussion list (you will find that project by choosing
appropriate category and subcategory).
Please let me know about your opinion relating to my project. As I have

                    FTL by Down-converting (Revised)
A method is proposed here to achieve faster than light (FTL) communication
by the use of down-converters.  A down-converter splits a photon into two
photons each having half the energy of the original photon.
