| Fixed vs. rotating coils | 28 Feb 2005 05:29 GMT | 3 |
In every motor, speaker and meter I've seen, the coils are mounted on the rotor and the magnets are fixed. There are obvious benefits to reversing this by mounting the coils in a fixed position and allowing the magnets to spin with to the rotor. For one, the wiring is simpler ...

| Progress with Ultracapacitors | 27 Feb 2005 23:09 GMT | 1 |
I have been following how ultracapacitors were spun off from the defense industry & the uses they have found in recent years. I want to find out if there have been any recent improvements or developments with ultracapacitors?

In fusion physics the special number of 2/3 begot from enclosing cylinder in sphere where upper limit is 2/3 per volume or per surface area. Eventually leads to the proof that fusion has an upper limit of 2/3 Breakeven and is impossible to surpass 2/3 Breakeven because

| NucleiWires the geometrical cause for Superconductivity; Meissner Effect a Ampere law | 24 Feb 2005 18:55 GMT | 4 |
I am claiming that Coulomb's law needs a temperature term in numerator as well as Newton's 2nd law needs to be F=maT. I am claiming that the Ideal Gas Law of P= nRT/V is a short form of Coulomb's law where pressure is converted to force and volume to d^2.

| North and south poles | 24 Feb 2005 02:45 GMT | 2 |
I would like to know how the magnetic forces of the north and south poles were formed. Is it gravity or the earth's mass? A friend of mine said that the north and south pole can never meet because of opposite attraction.

| new concept in superconductivity, not "hole" but MICROWIRES | 22 Feb 2005 08:25 GMT | 5 |
Several days back I mentioned in one of my posts the idea of a "microwire" inside superconductors that as the temperature gets so cold that the atoms form microwires. In our observable scale we know and understand that electric current runs well on the geometry of wires. So
