Fusion Course/Career28 May 2006 20:27 GMT2
I'll be taking a fusion course this year as part of my final year of
Nuke. Engr. program. Until now, the emphasis with statics, kinetics and
reactor design has been entirely on fission. How different will the
fusion course come out to be ?

Designing a second miniaturized Sun, possible?26 May 2006 03:58 GMT6
Suppose we want to create a second tiny sun or hot fusion
source. What will it take to do that. If we can put enough hydrogen,
deuterium, tritium, etc trapped in magnetic field
or other containment in space and ignite it by fission. What should one
new On the Structure of Particles and the Nature of Nuclear Forces25 May 2006 17:33 GMT1
This paper has proposed a theoretical idea to construct particles by
using electron, positron, neutrino and anti-neutrino as well as the
weak force interaction among them; it has theoretically estimated the
radii of neutron and proton as well as the range and strength of

for faster-than-light travel with a
cold fusion reactor or do you
electromagnetic gas-particle fusion at low temprature16 May 2006 04:00 GMT4
I hope there are some scientists on this board that can answer a few
questions I have.
 1.   Why is magnetized gas particles able to fuse under a high
amperage

I think cold fusion has to be programmed07 May 2006 08:33 GMT1
Cold fusion is a problem for computer scientists.
I think with the right program, cold fusion will
work, that's a fact.

I usually find that only Hicks and Evangelists say stuff like: " 'nuff

Is that you Enis?  We used to make a lot of fun of your name - I'm sorry
about that.
Wikipedia "Cold fusion controversy"01 May 2006 13:26 GMT18
The Wikipedia entry on "Cold fusion" has been split by having the
controversy aspect spawned into a separate entry, "Cold fusion
controversy".  This new entry has been primarily written by Jed
Rothwell and is currently undergoing heavy dispute and editing.  See:
