my energy tube seems worn out12 Apr 2009 10:16 GMT2
I've been using the same tube of hydrogen for some time and it did look like
it was giving power but today it did not make any power. It is possible it
was not hot enough and the screen I used absorbed the power but it also
possible the tube is worn out.
Tomahawk Reactor Upgraded11 Apr 2009 20:20 GMT1
I upgraded my tomahawk reactor with a coil made with 4 mm enamelled copper
wire and replaced all the connecting wire with 4 mm wire.
The S-meter reading which is an indication of circulating current reading
changed from 0.5 to 5.
2.2 KW sustained thermonuclear power?09 Apr 2009 22:14 GMT32
I purchased an infrared thermometer today and when I ran the unit at 200
watt the temperature registered was 220 degree C.
A radiator gives of heat according to Stephan's law: J=5.6E-8T^4 so for the
sensor of (2.5 E-3)^2x 3.14 m^2 the flux was 131 watt. so all round the
