Rock Book Recommendation12 Apr 2004 14:55 GMT2
I am hoping someone can recommend a book that will identify rocks. I

the mountains frequently and see some unusual rock formations. I would
like for the book to be fairly small in size that will fit in a pocket
Disinformation and Ignorance of EE Aspects12 Apr 2004 03:54 GMT12
This is posted with the hope that only EE advocates will be encouraged

Is chlorite a safe mineral?09 Apr 2004 09:44 GMT6
I'm thinking of using black/green slate in a fish tank.  I know the black
color comes from graphite which is perfectly safe, since it's just carbon.
The green color comes from chlorite, correct?  Is chlorite safe?  Could
chlorite prove dangerous to freshwater fish or shrimp?

Lat/lon map of the world, (and the .e00 format).07 Apr 2004 18:21 GMT2

I would like to draw the coast lines as well as the rivers, ( and any other
useful data).
Ideally I would get a bunch of lat/lon coordinates to render the map, (the

If you carefully examine the top left crner (near the go-cart) you
