what is geophysics?

Photographer in the UK [North West area] seeking access to virtually any
naturally radioactive mineral samples / collections for a photographic

As a note:
The term "erosional  unconformities" can be found in texts such as
"Stratigraphy and Sedimentation " by Krumbein & Sloss.
For those with an interest in geology this or a similiar text is needed
