Has anyone heard about when the GOES soundings are going to resume? I just went to the NOAA page and they haven't been updating in the past 2 months. I've been told by my synoptic professor that they're having some problems with things related to them. Anyone know anything else?

| Daily Weather Maps Archive now on-line | 15 May 2004 17:30 GMT | 1 |
NOAA has posted a free on-line archive of their daily weather map series. The first map in the seruies is dated Jan 1 1972. Each file is quite large (about 2M) and a special plug-in is required to view. http://docs.lib.noaa.gov/rescue/dwm/data_rescue_daily_weather_maps.html
