It looks like T.S. may emerge in the Pacific after crossing Mexico. It may increase its strength again. I dont recall see a two-ocean hurricane before.

I grabbed this gif below from a forum that was discussing the article. Many were claiming the prediction is a bit 'chicken little' if you will because the ocean temp. near NYC is just too cool to support a category 3 or larger storm..hence weakening before landfall. Perhaps
