where can i get databases/data on the number of severe thunderstorm
and torn warnings issues in a total year?
not actual tornadoes/storms but a list or map showing the counties
warned in a given year

I'm curious as to the identity of a building that I saw next to the highway,
it might be related to meteorology, but then again it could be for something
else.  A photo of it can be seen here:
