first off i would like to thank all the people that helped me including jo and 1 lucky texan. i was wondering if there are any geode collecting sites in colorado.and how you can tell if they are there. if you could help me i would be nothing but grateful. P.S I'll stop

I have heard of a vug, but am a little green in the rock collecting hobby so if you could give me some idea i would be more than grateful.

there is an abundance of quartz on the ground on a larger mountain in colorado. I was wondering if there is a possibility for geodes and if so would i need to dig??? any information you can give me would help, i dont know anything about them thank you,.......Sterling Jones
