Hi!  I am an elementary school student.  Today in class we placed a mineral
into a solution of hydrochloric acid and it turned black.  I am looking on
the internet to see if I can find any resources that can help me understand
what happens to minerals when subjected to acid ...

   Any help in identifying these Burmese/Myanmaran beads, especially
the bright orange-yellow mineral, would be greatly appreciated. They're
from a new "find" and nobody we've talked to knows what they are.

Hi,  I have several pieces of lapidary equipment( each on it's own
small table)  tumbler, saw, fauceter, polisher etc.   These pieces are
about 35 yrs old, but in good condition/working order.  I am interested
in selling them.  I paid $1200 for them about 5 yrs ago, and the only
