I am trying to find out what caused a massive depetion of iron in the ocean
approximately 2 billion years ago.  I've been reading my text for marine
science 100 and searching online.  If anyone has a link to the information I
will be very appreciative.

Hi, I am a computer science student and have been working with ocean
data to viisualize it. I have been trying to segment eddy structures
based on their properties... but still havn't been able to do it. Can
anyone tell me about one property of the eddy that can distinguish it
