  Ignoring the filename of the image below, I was wondering if anyone
can help me identify the apparent trilobite tail.  I found this fossil
in northern Indiana in the mid-80's as a kid and I've had it in my
collection since.  Of course as a kid, I didn't take the time to record ...

We recently found several boxes of fossil collected in the John Day
Fossil Beds while clear out a house prior to having a estate sale. We
would like to try and identify them and then donate them to a school.
Anyone care to recommend a good book or books.

I'm looking for information on techniques of cross-cutting or slicing
Foraminifera. I have been to many good web sites that discuss
collecting and mounting of forams, but I have yet to find any
information on cutting.

young members of these groups accompanying their parents. He suggests
that they cling on, possibly around the neck!

those beings did not die, but were taken to difrent planets in our galaxy.
