Hello to everyone.
I have been interested in dinosaurs for a very long time, but I also
realize that dinosaurs are not the only species which is studied in
paleontology.

I found this piece of petrified wood with something embedded in one side of
it.  I haven't found anyone locally who can tell me what it may be.  Any
assistance would be appreciated.  I am attaching a link with 4 photos.
