LSP Laser Projector Software04 Oct 2004 18:28 GMT2
Anyone have any experience with these guys? http://www.lasershow.sk/lsp.php
You can download a demo, just been looking at it and seems pretty
comprehensive, just wondered if anyone else had used this or would
recommend??
Phototransistor and PIN photodiode04 Oct 2004 17:31 GMT1
I need to choose between a photodiode and a phototransistor. Does
anyone has some tips on average resolution and limit of detection of
those devices ?
Thanks,

Suggestions for High power DPSS04 Oct 2004 14:48 GMT4
Looking for suggestion for a 5W or greater DPSS.  Anyone have any
advise.  It will be use for a display application with graphics and
prefer that it be internally modulated for blanking.
Also for another job any suggestions around 2W.
another strange AOM effect04 Oct 2004 14:27 GMT6
We use a Bragg cell to frequency shift a beam by 40 MHz. The efficiency is
rather high with >90%. We observe a parasitic 80MHz AM on the shifted beam
no matter if the cell is driven with a very pure sine or nearly square wave.
Where does this AM originate from and what can we do ...
Early-style non-carbon projection transparencies?04 Oct 2004 14:18 GMT4
My (rapidly fading) memory bank says that once upon a time there were
non-ink, non-carbon, thermal-type overhead transparencies that were
prepared by putting the transparent plastic transparency sheet on top of
the document to be copied and running both of these through a pair of ...
100BaseFX vs. FDDI04 Oct 2004 09:55 GMT1
To all,
I'm looking for some help with my fibre optic cable selection.
Any help regarding what advantages each one has over the other would
be greatly appreciated.

Pulse generator for a synrad03 Oct 2004 17:56 GMT5
Just picked up my used 25W Synrad CO2 laser today and what a lovely
thing it is too.  Already made a brick glow and taken a mode print in
perspex but some finer control before going to full CNC would be nice.
The Synrad needs a 5khz PWM signal with a minium pulse length of 1us
goniometer of Babinet03 Oct 2004 17:16 GMT2
Is there any museum in Europe where I can find a goniometer of
Babinet?  And how big is such goniometer (I mean: can I hold it in my
hand or is ist bigger)?
Controllaser interface connection03 Oct 2004 05:04 GMT1
I have to get a old controllaser working again. The problem is that it used
to be connected to a production line.
On the back of the lasercontroller is a interface plug. It is next to the
water inlet. I don't have a connection diagram for
1000 credit card magnifiers cheap.02 Oct 2004 23:49 GMT2
Can anyone point me at anyone who sells these in quantity?
Or alternatively, frensel lenses from stock in large quantities?
(say 10cm focal length, 5cm square)
FS: 3 - MCA's (DPSS laser crystals) & 2 housings02 Oct 2004 19:33 GMT1
I have 3, small MCA (monolithic crystal assemblies) low power, 100mW output
max KTP/NdYV04 crystal assemblies, 2 with holders for 808nm laser diodes
(frequency doubling) Each unit was pulled from a working DPSS module. Photos
upon request, asking $150 for the 3. I have a 500mW ...
