Hi to all,
I'd be very interested to know if someone has experience
with cleaning LBO crystals?

Modifying a green laser pointer module.28 Feb 2006 23:10 GMT2
Greetiings laser experts;
I am interested in seeing if I can get more 532 nm laser power out of
a module from a leadlight laser pointer.  Before I start vandalizing
the pointer guts, I've got some questions.
Webcam and Human eye28 Feb 2006 21:20 GMT1
I took pictures using a Logitech webcam through a peephole in the door
but the quality was too bad. Features of no two faces were
distinguishable.

Recycling gases28 Feb 2006 20:28 GMT16
I apologise if this an old topic with nowhere to go, but has any work been
done
on the recycling of the gases in a continuous flow CO2 laser ?
I realise that there will be changes in the mix of CO2/He/N2 due to the eht

design this kind of laser using Ti:sapphire crystal?
Confocal Microscope principle28 Feb 2006 18:00 GMT10
I understand the role of a pinhole and its size in selectively imaging
a layer of a thick 3D specimen.  My question is, why not place an array
of finitely small pinholes in a plane at the focal length of the
objective lens rather than using having random or spiral arrangements

Further to my request for advice27 Feb 2006 19:23 GMT11
I have now managed to post photos of the burn patterns, and of  the ends of
the Sharplan tube at www.fanmaker.co.uk/lasers.html .
It has been suggested that the problem could be either badly aligned optics,
or crud on them.
Russian Laser Diode Pinout27 Feb 2006 17:17 GMT1
Hi, Would any one of you know the pinout of Russian Laser Diodes. I have a
defective Russian night vision laser illuminator and I would like to check
wether the laser diode itself or the circuit is bad. The problem is that
this laser has 4 pins and I really don't know where or ...
Newport 835 Prom woes....27 Feb 2006 16:12 GMT2
After having acquired a nice Newport 835 power meter, and an 818
detector from separate sources, it turned out that one needs to
exchange/reprogram an internal Prom in the meter if one wants to
connect a different sensor (yes, I should have known before, but

help Zemax 27 Feb 2006 09:26 GMT6
I need to simulate an unusual design with Zemax software.
Let's suppose a lens. I need the light to enter into the lens from the edge
and to get out by the rear surface.
I don't know how to proceed yet, should I use NSC (non sequential component)
