I am looking for a stereo zoom microscope that I can mount my Nikon FM3a on.
Would the Konus Diamond 20-40x be a good one ?  What worries me about this
one and others like it is that the camera would be hanging out over the

converting Molectron Power sensor from Molex to DB-2531 Aug 2006 13:52 GMT1
I have a Molectron Power Max I purchased from Molectron some ears ago.
At that time I purchased a PM10-19C sensor head that has a LM-25DB
conector that plugged into the Power Max meter.
Now I've purchased a PM150-50A. This one has a 4 pin Molex (1 pin for
Modifying a DPSS power supply31 Aug 2006 13:18 GMT5
I'm looking to modify a SMPS power supply that came with a 100mw DPSS
module from mains operation to battery operation. My thoughts on this
would be to simply measure the voltage across the LV (diode/tec)
section, and substituting in a battery of appropriate value, along with

OSLO edu29 Aug 2006 02:58 GMT2
I am a beginner in the field of optical design, my current working is
in optical sensors.
recently I have managed a free version of OSLO called OSLO edu.
I have seen the posts from the very founder of the company and
High Emissivity=Low Refractive Index, and Negative RI28 Aug 2006 17:30 GMT3
The following's in reference to ambient far infrared radiation. Going
from high reflective index to low reflective index has low critical
angle. It seems logical that a great deal of radiation emitting from
material with high reflective index into air or vacuum should reflect

compressed.  And someone else asked me how they could actually convert
Pulsing IR LEDs - determining max drive?27 Aug 2006 17:57 GMT7
How does one determine the maximum safe pulse width, duty, and current
one can apply to a IR LED?
Let's say it's a more or less ordinary 880 or 940 and the manufacturer
has listed its typical operating specs at a 20 mA drive, but has no
Infrared microscopy with a Nikon TE-2000U26 Aug 2006 19:05 GMT1
I am about to put together a supercontinuum light source (coherent
