This is one of the projects I have had in the works for quite some time now.
I've had a hard time working on them because my ankle has been really
screwed up since I had a surgery on it in April.
Cameras and microscope adapters30 Sep 2006 20:35 GMT4
Is there a listing some where that  have an appropriate adapter that will
fit on a 38mm inside diameter trinocular head?  I know the various Nikon
Coolpix's have the threaded lense, but frankly I don't want to put as money
as they cost into a camera that old.

1. What is E=mc2?  What is its importance?
E=mc2 is the most wonderful and significant equation is physics.  In
Where can I get good used/refurbished fusion splicers?? >Test Equipment?29 Sep 2006 21:42 GMT1
Ebay sellers are mostly scammers. They lie too much. I simply won't pay
$5k-10k to some yoyo that most likely lied about the splicer or simply
lacks knowledge of splicers or fiber optics. Many websites sell fiber
splicers but who to trust for "used" equipment, "refurbished" or
Drat, my laser works...29 Sep 2006 20:21 GMT7
I got around to powering up the Versapulse 532,755,1064 q switched laser (no
password, thank goodness!) and the darn thing works!  I was looking foward
to taking it apart :-/
Very nice selection menu.  The qswitched 532nm 755nm and 1064nm can be

Collimation Laser diode29 Sep 2006 14:02 GMT3
I want to know the best way to collimate a laser diode .
Where I can found some information about this . ans if is posible to

throughput and optical invariant28 Sep 2006 12:06 GMT4
My question is very basic and I'm sorry if it has
already been answered here but I don't find any relevant
explication in the Web.
It is said that the maximum throughput of a system (lets say a
Photodiodes, Connected in Series or Parallel??28 Sep 2006 06:14 GMT5
This may seem like a basic question, but does one connect photodiodes
in series or parallel for proper operation? I would like to basically
enlarge the light detection area of my circuit and I do not have space
for a lens, therefore, I just decided to use two photodiodes. Where the
On   101st   Birthday   of Einstein's   E=mc227 Sep 2006 15:49 GMT1
When light energy is emitted, Mass increases,: Einstein’s Sep.1905
derivation.
It is not consistent prediction from Einstein’s Sep 1905
derivation.
multiple data fitting27 Sep 2006 12:59 GMT4
I have multiple data files with the data format "x, f(x)". I need to
fit each data file to a Gaussian. I know how to do it one file at a
time, but I have more than 100 data files. Is there any easier (re:
faster) way to fit all my data files?
what camera?27 Sep 2006 01:50 GMT5
What camera shall I buy for small photos, but I need auto-focus and
high resolution?

Sanctity laser26 Sep 2006 12:16 GMT2
Does anybody have some experience with the RGB laser module form
Sanctitylaser?
It is an all in one module, so you don't have to align Red, Green and
Blue lasers.
How to estimate free-beam waveguide coupling efficiency?25 Sep 2006 15:20 GMT5
Several days ago I asked about how to couple laser into a waveguide, it
turns out that I'd better make a theoretical estimate first.
My waveguide is made on a silicon chip, a long bar geometrically. For
the cross section,  the width is 10 micrometers, and height is
Q from a layman: optical heterodyning? infrared viewer?25 Sep 2006 11:59 GMT6
I've done a search and found that the topic of optical heterodyning has been
covered, but I couldn't find the information I'm looking for.  Would it be
possible to build a VERY simple DIY heterodyning system to act as an
infrared viewer?  The following setup for example:  light ...
