Has anybody got the figures for noise floor in a cheap B&W CCD sensor? We need these figures for some camera modelling. Our modelling involves the use of CCD cameras and a monochromatic illuminator working at 760nm.

My employer has made a policy decision to switch all pc's over to Linux soon. Does anyone have any experience of using either GLAD or ZEMAX with a Windows emulator (something like Wine, I suppose)?

There must be developments that the Abbe Limit of resolution is knocked out with a trick. Resulutions now possible below Abbes limit. Does anybody know more ?
