gravity is fake01 Jun 2005 00:02 GMT1
is the unwritten rule of the road and the unexplored power of geometry
keeping us close to the earth surface, there is no gravity anywhere, I
see no gravity, follow the rules in the book and you get where you are
going in no time

Slabinski and Mingst/Stowe disagree in Pushing Gravity31 May 2005 03:07 GMT90
A while back I was discussing with Paul Stowe the
expression on his web site  for the heating caused by
LeSagian gravity.  Stowe derives a formua for heat
emission that is of the form:
No Long Range Virtual Particles30 May 2005 22:39 GMT50
If the quantum vacuum is full, if virtual particles are
everywhere they would form an infinitely dense soup that
matter would have no choice but to react with. It would
be stopped in its tracks.
We can't see light in a black hole Twake?30 May 2005 21:42 GMT12
Twake:
Light can not escape a black hole. Therefore we have no way of knowing
if it is emitted or not.
Nick's brilliant counterpoint:
the basic of matter30 May 2005 16:04 GMT23
what is the very basic property of matter that makes it able to
organizes in complex stuctures, in daglig language called for "life"
why would matter looks and try to understand itself?
are atoms alive?
No Further Accelerations Possible Once Inside a Black Hole.30 May 2005 13:27 GMT32
Once reaching the event horizon a falling object can accelerate
no further. It has reached the speed of light.
Since by definition freefall is a change in velocity
there cannot be said to be anymore gravity(freefall) inside a
How Does Gravity Move Mass Without Resistance?30 May 2005 08:37 GMT36
Gravity can move any size mass without resistance.
It can move a potentially *infinite* mass.
Though there will never be infinite mass this is the power of gravity.
It can move the entire universe!
What is BaT, exactly?30 May 2005 07:24 GMT90
OK, I'm getting slightly annoyed.  I want to know the postulates
to Henri's theory, the Ballistic Light Theory (BaT for short).
My guess (and that's all it is) is that they are the following:
[1] Light speed relative to its generator is c.  For purposes of this
IRT: Improved Relativity Theory30 May 2005 02:42 GMT3
IRT (Improved Relativity Theory) is a complete theory of motion. It includes
SRT as a subset. Howevert, unlike SRT the equations of IRT are valid in all
enviroments.....including gravity.
The Postulates of IRT:
How long is a muon when at rest?29 May 2005 22:34 GMT79
Whenever we measure small objects such as muons (or fast moving
electrons or protons) they always seem to be moving at nearly the speed
of light. According to SR, this contracts their length, so I was
wondering how long they would be when at rest with respect to the
Poisson Equation & Cosmological Term29 May 2005 18:44 GMT6
laplace(phi) = 4*pi*G*rho
phi = -G*M/r
laplace(phi)=0 !!!
Proof with sample code from maple:
If 0<>029 May 2005 13:49 GMT2
If you give something a value, this value has to be related to some other
value to have any meaning. So if you say the speed of light is c then the
value assigned to c has to be in relation to some other value. By
mathematical definition this value is 0 unless otherwise stated. If c ...
How big is the universal light cone Old Man?29 May 2005 11:35 GMT12
Supposed "events" beyond the bounds
of your light cone are out of space and time.
[Old Man]
Wrong Old Man. There are always events outside your light
