| Are quarsars a bright and distant as we think. | 31 Jan 2009 03:12 GMT | 2 |
The Quasar jets equivalent to one trillion (10 to the 12) of our suns magnitude emit radiation and winds from quasars shut down the formation of new stars in the host galaxy, a process called 'feedback'. The jets that produce strong radio emission and of gamma-

| Planet & Satellite Paradox (just for fun!) | 30 Jan 2009 20:01 GMT | 23 |
Imagine two planets, each with a satellite, moving towards each other at a constant velocity, where that velocity is within the same order of magnitude as the speed of light (e.g. v = 0.75*c). What do you think the astronomers on one planet make of the other

| 1,000 tons of material enters the atmosphere every year and makes its way to Earths surface. | 30 Jan 2009 16:30 GMT | 12 |
Is this correct, I heard it as more like a hundred tons a day, if this is true why doesnt earths gravuty increase by a small amount over millions of years of collecting more matter that has mass.

| Finite Relativism and Dark Matter Disproof | 29 Jan 2009 21:53 GMT | 33 |
Here's a book containing a clear and concise proof "dark matter" isn't crucial to withhold objects traveling faster than the necessary escape velocity within a galaxy. The theory also accepts tunneling effects, artificial wormholes and a maximum black hole density. Many ...

| The Three Faces of Light Speed Unification. | 27 Jan 2009 15:32 GMT | 71 |
1) Aether theory says that all light in the universe moves at c wrt a universal and rigid light carrying medium or 'aether', which also serves as an absolute spatial reference frame. Light speed is unified by the medium in accordance with Maxwell's theory.

| Beyond relativity and quantum mechanics | 27 Jan 2009 01:58 GMT | 37 |
There exists an interesting thread, The nature of the "Now", in sci.physics.research (spr) where several authors (including myself) write about the needed extension of both relativity and quantum mechanics to understand the flow of time and model irreversible phenomena.

| Important note!!! for the logically impaired or specially daft SRIAN | 26 Jan 2009 23:26 GMT | 61 |
If you picture two groups with pool/billiard players in a room that use different size of the table they play on, both groups still measure the table to the same size due to use of (tabledependent) rulers.

| Ion Teleportation | 26 Jan 2009 23:21 GMT | 1 |
At the heart of teleportation lies a quantum mechanics effect known as entanglement. That phenomenon allows two particles—such as photons, atoms, or ions—to be linked in such a way that if someone measures the quantum state of one object, the state of the other becomes known as

If a logical thought experiment with a space shuttle katamaran proves vectordependent timings of lightspeed how would an SRIAN interpretate it. 1. One ponton is shorter than the othere muahahahahahah
