Anatomical questions about breast size26 Feb 2004 22:18 GMT2
I wanted to ask if it is anatomically possible for a slim woman to
have GG breasts? All the big breasted women I find over the net are
fat. Is breast size directly associated with fatness of other parts?
If it's isn't, I would be grateful to anyone who can point me to

Making more Stem cell lines?24 Feb 2004 01:03 GMT8
Why can't existing stem cell lines be expanded by transplanting new
nuclei into "legal" stem cells?  Would such a cell be compatible with
the organism that provided a nucleus?  Would it still behave as a stem
cell?

Certainly topics such as territoriality, xenophobia, kin selection and
aggression are part of evolutionary biology. They are aspects of our

Evolutionary biology encompasses much more than just Homo Sapiens (which

how dogs evolved from wolves; TV NOVA show; 1st domesticated farm animal theory06 Feb 2004 13:30 GMT1
A few days ago I watched a NOVA program on the variety of dogs with
talk of their evolution from that of wolves. Quite an interesting
program. However there are very many gaps of logic in the discussion
of how dogs came from wolves.

I'm deveolping a GM Technology talk for A-level students at a local
school.  Does anyone know some good topics to talk about.  I'm
thinking on the lines of GM food and drugs, like insulin.  Are there
any other areas that would be good to talk about.  This is my first
How many animal types have hearts on the right side? Humans with right hearts03 Feb 2004 15:01 GMT9
I'm very curious.
Do *any* animals have hearts on the right side? This may include even
fish, ocean floor volcanic ecosystem lifeforms, even insects (although
I know some insects don't even have hearts).
Cell-Killing and Re-Growth for Body Re-design03 Feb 2004 00:20 GMT4
Hi, I wanted to ask about the notion of harnessing the immune system
for re-engineering the entire body. What if you were to take a gene
therapy approach which modified your body's immune system cells by
inserting youthful DNA into them. Then the immune system would help
