Hi guys, if I have the following 4 substances, and if C and D are
converted into E, when the system reaches equilibrium, what has
happened to the amount to A in the system?
               A <--> C + D <--> E

I am looking for methods to make N,O-carboxymethyl chitosan.  I have
found one in an expired US patent and another in a 20 year old journal
article.  Just wondering if anyone knows of more recent published
