I do not know if anyone has tried this before and been successful. Next year I am giving it a try because green-ash is abundant but white-ash is rare here. I am going to try it on a white-ash cultivar of autumn-purple.

I was gardening in a T-shirt, wearing gardening gloves, and a weed cutting fell on my wrist. There was no immediate reaction but the next morning it got very itchy and came up in blisters, and took over a week to go away.
