My wife has a bay laurel (Laurus nobilis) in a pot and, boy, does that
thing grow SLOW! It's doing all right now though.

I am trying to find some good articles to get my students interested in
plants, specifically plant evolution and conservation.  95% of the students
that I teach are pre-med.  The course is introductory biology.  I give them

I'd like to know if plant cells can ever have any lysosome. Please
tell me, because I usually think that animal cells are the only ones
which have lysosomes.
