There are many high-quality magazines which cater to the fellow who
wants to do homebrewed, but serious, electronics work.  They have
excellent articles, and even more valuable are the adverts from vendors
who specifically want to sell to serious electronics hobbyists.

method, given that I have pure silver granules ? I do have some silver

I was just cleaning out some hydroponic pots for a new season. I am using
hydrogen peroxide to get rid of algae and other such crap. I started using
35% solution. The recommended dilution was 1oz to a gallon (96oz) of water.
This would give me an ultimate solution of about 0.35%.

I've noticed the heavy usage of the notation Ca++ in many Biology
texts.
Can someone clear up why this might be, is it a feild based usage
variation of Ca2+ and if so, why this is the case?
