Sparklers30 Jan 2008 09:39 GMT2
A sparkler is a type of hand-held firework that burns slowly while
emitting coloured flames, sparks, and many effects.
The "classic" type of sparkler consists of a thin metal rod
approximately 20 cm (8 inches) long that has been dipped in a thick

#1 new textbook "How Superconductivity really works; concept of     electrons forming microwires"28 Jan 2008 19:27 GMT71
Hello reader:
I just finished a textbook on Mathematical-Physics exploring AP-adics

the intrinsic and native numbers of both Elliptic geometry and
cold phosphating anti rust formulation28 Jan 2008 18:23 GMT2
many anti rust formulations are there which are expensive. I need
inorganic based anti rust formulation which can be applied directly on
steel surface without any surface preparation also which can convert
rust into iron.

Where are electrons?28 Jan 2008 07:44 GMT4
When you rub the balloon on your hair, the balloon will "stick" to the
vertical plastic board. The question is: where are electrons - inside
the ballon or on its surface. Thanks.

Where to find/calculate heat of vaporization26 Jan 2008 06:05 GMT1
Can someone please point me to where I could find ( or how to
calculate) heat of vaporization of titanium tetrachloride (TiCl4) at
320 deg C.  I have the values for 25 deg C and the boiling point of
136.4 deg C.
Why sodium instead of natrium?25 Jan 2008 07:45 GMT21
Hello. I'm a Korean who lives in Korea. Perhaps this question is not
important at all, but I'm just curious. Many Korean names of
elements , that are not in Korean language, are the same as those of
English. For example, we call helium as helium, lithium as lithium.
gibbs free energy equation25 Jan 2008 04:59 GMT3
I've got a question regarding the classical gibbs or helmholtz free
energy equations.  I understand that they yield the maximum work
extractable for a quasistatic process as constrained by the second
law, i.e DSuniv = 0 for the quasistatic case.  I'm having difficulty

I nice PBS TV show on Walter Freeman the overzealous lobotomist. The
question that nags at

Stable Positive Ion Gas Molecule Needed24 Jan 2008 18:47 GMT2
I am working on a project and need a stable positive gas ion.
The conditions would be from roughly -40C to +85C, and the container
would contain carbon aerogel for one electrode and a conductive metal
for the other electrode.
