Could someone please help me ID this insect?  I've got millions of them
all over my property.  They came in yesterday afternoon, swarmed all
over, and roosted at dusk and are swarming me again today.

He guys, found your newsgroup through a google search and thought this

This beetle was found in the UK, its huge at about 5cm (body), its
antennae are about twice as long as that, and so are its legs.

We found this handsome fellow on our tent in a campground in Maine,
