In need of some help with terminology.  We are QAQCing our species lists

Sorry for any cross-posting but....
One of our education centers is constructing a moving model of Eastern
Pygmy Blue (Blephidium pseudofea) and while I can provide a ventral
photo, a dorsal photo is hard to come by...we have tracked down a dorsal

I ran across this unusual insect in Northern Arkansas. The ends of its
wings were very colorful but the rest blended in with the tree it was
on. Does anyone know what it is?

Greetings all,
Found this moth sitting on my car tonight. I've got most of my local
butterflies down, but I'm clueless about the moth side of the equation. If
anyone could ID it for me, I'd be most grateful!
