Can someone tell me what this insect is and if it bites. Please.  I
found it in my bed in the corner of the bottom sheet.  and Ive been
getting bitten in bed for several months.

I found this insect in the wood for roof of my house. It's digging tunnels
in wood, entrances are eliptical, about 5-6mm.
