I recently bought a motic camera and It work fine. However I wondered what type of format is consider best. It tried *.sfc (Motic), *.jpg,*.tif. I didn't see that much different. However this is a brand new toy and I still experimenting with it.

I am skimming duck weed off of a pond in preperation to ferment the material, I assume I will have to pasturise the sample prior to fermenting but will I have raise the temperature high enough to rupture the starch packets to get compleat fermentation?
