question on paracentric inversion23 Sep 2006 02:32 GMT1
I'm looking at paracentric inversion when crossing over occurs. Is the
final result four gametes, but only two of the gametes have the proper
number of genes? One gamete has the normal chromosome, one has the
chromosome with the inversion, and the other two have the fragmented
Odd gram stain results22 Sep 2006 03:45 GMT8
I am in charge of keeping up the cultures for our MIcro classes, and

the negative, and this time around we saw some really odd spots of dark
purple in the cells (and not outside). We hadn't seen this before so I

"anything" about either the topic specifically (at this time, I am more
interested in the historical aspect of bio-augmention) or has any

how bacterial deals with endogenous ROS?11 Sep 2006 22:14 GMT2
Hi, I'm writing a paper about oxidases, a class of enzymes
that produce H2O2. Usually in eukariotes they are present in
peroxysomes where H2O2 can be eliminated by catalase.
What is the situation in bacteria? First of all, are there present
