| Improved Relativity Theory (IRT) | 31 Jan 2007 20:29 GMT | 34 |
Improved Relativity Theory (IRT): IRT includes SRT as a subset. However, unlike SRT, the equations of IRT are valid in all environments, including gravity. IRT has an unlimited domain of applicability therfore it is also valid for

| Graduate Level Math Books For Sale | 31 Jan 2007 15:29 GMT | 1 |
I thought some people on this group might be interested in taking some of my used graduate math books off my hands. I was a graduate student at Berkeley in Mathematics a few years ago and during that time I collected a bunch of graduate level math books that I no longer need.

| "The Flaw in High Energy Physics" | 31 Jan 2007 15:00 GMT | 1 |
"The Flaw in High Energy Physics" When it comes to particle physics a question arises. High Energy experiments have led to a plethora of short-lived high-energy products. As an example, a proton and an anti-proton, each having a mass equivalent

| t-butanol vs. n-butanol melting vs. boiling points | 31 Jan 2007 14:34 GMT | 1 |
Can someone explain why t-butanol has a higher melting point but lower boiling point than n-butanol? I know t-butanol is more soluble in water because the hydroxy group is more localized in the molecule allowing for h-bonding between water

| Interval before Nuclear Decay | 31 Jan 2007 09:00 GMT | 11 |
My background in physics comes from Nuclear Power School in the Navy (back in the early 1970's). The Navy sent me to school so that I could operate an S5W nuclear propulsion plant (not alone, of course). So, since the '70's anything more that I've learned about nuclear

What do you think of it? They claim they have a magnetic motor that puts out more energy than it takes to run it, and they are asking for scientists to test it for them. I wonder why they don't rent a hall and set up their machine to power a

| Why only gravity is "geometrical"? | 30 Jan 2007 20:06 GMT | 20 |
hey ho! What is the obstruction to developing a theory of - for example - electromagnetism, that would imply that electromagnetism is not a real force (like gravity in general relativity)?
